I really like the Pyramid range. It feels safe to shoot there. But sometimes I like to just go out to the hills and blast off! It is usually a bummer though because its just so trashed up in those spots. I try and clean my mess and wish others would too!

Douglas County is a good range, the only thing I dont like about it is the way you face to fire is directly into the sun. So you have to go really early or late in the day. Carson City range out by the dump off of highway 50 has you face north away from the sun, the road to the carson range is really tore up last time I was out there.

I'm a newbie to shooting at a range so please bear with me if this is a really dumb question: When you go to the Carson, Washoe, or Douglas ranges do you have to bring target stands for your targets or are those supplied by the range?
