My favorite, and my EDC, is my Springfield XD45 Compact. Great ergonomics, small enough to conceal IWB, and it's a .45.

My favorite was the Thompson Center Contender chambered 7TCU. It was a wild cat load consisting of a .223 necked out to 7mm. It had a 10" barrel but could also be changed out to a .22 barrel for cheap practice.
http://www.tcarms.com/firearms/g2ContenderPistols.php But alas, I traded it at Cabela's for a Sig Pro SP2340 .40S&W. Since, I have also aquired a S&W M&Pc in .40. Love them both. |

Kimber Stainless II. I bought it as a poor college student by lay-a-way and put enough rounds through it that it almost feels like one of my appendages.

I took out all my handguns last weekend and ran through as much ammo as I could. I really like my Vaquero 45 and also am quite fond of my new LCR but nothing felt as good or shot as well as my Browning HP 9mm.
![]() Everything about it just seems perfect except it's a little too large for CC. That's why I'm looking at the Kahr CM9. Anyone have one? |

Wow, so much for breath into life into this thread... been 2 years.
Sold my Glock 21 shortly after I bought my Kimber Eclipse Custom 2. I installed Crimson Trace laser grips on it and carry it in a Black Hawk Serpa retention holster with the Paddle option, love it. LCP backup. |
